SAWWHETNET is the listserve of Project Owlnet, a means by which hundreds of researchers communicate their findings, raise and discuss questions, and share their results. Although our major focus is the Northern Saw-whet Owl, the list is open to anyone working with owls worldwide.

Consequently, SAWWHETNET membership is limited to owl banders, field researchers and governmental agency personnel actively studying owl ecology and migration. The listserve is not open to owl aficiandos, birders and others who – although they may share a deep and serious passion for owls – are not active field researchers.
